The module overview includes teacher availability. Review that context alongside the existing teaching plan before deciding where a lesson belongs; the supplied images do not show the availability editor.
- Read the teacher’s existing teaching commitments.
- Review configured availability during planning.
- Confirm availability rules and editing options in a demo.
Planning starts with the person’s context rather than assuming an empty period is permission to allocate.

Consider alternatives.
Then choose deliberately.
Scenarios and insight analysis are described in the module overview. Use a demo to review how alternatives are represented and assessed; no scenario editor or comparison report was supplied.
- Explore the documented scenario-planning scope.
- Discuss the insight analysis available to your school.
- Keep alternative review distinct from the saved teaching plan.
Academic teams can discuss trade-offs before committing to an arrangement.
Academics / TimetablePlanning alternatives
The teaching plan.
Beside the person.
The staff profile includes a Timetable tab with session context, weekly teaching-period count, saved-version information and a Print action. The grid shows the teacher’s classes and subject across the week.
- Timetable sits alongside the staff profile tabs.
- Session and weekly-period count give context.
- Class and subject references appear in each lesson.
A teacher’s schedule is connected to their staff record, rather than a disconnected document.

Bell Schedules & Periods
Define the time structure behind the teaching plan, with named periods and breaks that remain readable in the weekly timetable.
Substitution Engine
Understand the affected periods and the teacher’s existing schedule before reviewing a substitution. Class and teacher views keep the change connected to the plan.
Publish & Share Timetable
Choose who the timetable is for, inspect its print preview and take the saved plan into PDF, Excel or a printed weekly schedule.

Are these actual availability screens?
The supplied images show timetable and profile views, not an availability or scenario editor. Those capabilities are described in the module overview.
Does a blank period mean a teacher is available?
Do not assume it does. Review configured availability and existing commitments with the coordinator.
What do scenarios compare?
The overview names scenarios and insight analysis but does not specify comparison criteria. Review that scope in a demo.
The supplied images show the teaching board, print preview, printed class timetable and staff-profile timetable. Other planning and substitution capabilities come from the module overview, not supplied editor screens. Timetable V3 cutover is incomplete; legacy Timetable Studio remains live. Confirm your school’s available version and configuration in a demo.
